That was the case for my client, and like many in this situation, the options were limited. Today at this table was a closing I will never forget. Typically here in Texas, buyers and sellers close separately (I know it's different in other states) and many times never meet each other at all. However, we were lucky to have a great group of people that all got along in this sale. A great team of professionals and super sweet clients. Logistically we had a domino effect with closings and it made the most sense to have a mobile notary come to my clients house for both of her transactions and we welcomed the buyers to join us at her home (soon to be their home). We spent hours together signing documents, celebrating, sharing information and stories, drinking coffee and eating sweet treats. The buyer even held my clients dog while he signed paperwork! This home was filled with decades of memories for my client and now will start a new chapter with a new family. Congratulations to all!

😍😍😍 This one has a special place in my heart. First, I adore older homes that have so much character especially when they have been well cared for. The floors, the windows, the fireplace...every inch is just adorable! Second reason this one is special is the new owner. After losing her in south Texas to a hurricane this year, she made the choice to move farther from the coast. It has been a hard, emotional time and she was not confident she would find a home she loved (or even liked). But we did it! I knew we had found the one when I first saw it and couldn't wait for her to see it. She was excited by the home but a chance meeting of a few neighbors and discovering mutual friends was just icing on the cake to make this feel like it was meant to be her home.
